AppMetrica Viewer

Last updated: July 7, 2026

This policy explains how the AppMetrica Viewer Android app (package net.inettools.appmetrica) handles data when you connect a Yandex account and view statistics from Yandex AppMetrica.

Developer and Contact

The app is published by InetTools. For privacy questions, contact us at support@inettools.net.

Data Entered by the User

The user can add a Yandex OAuth token manually or through the Yandex OAuth flow, add a local account label, choose an AppMetrica application, select a report period, and change the app theme. The app also includes a demo mode with local sample data.

Local Storage

OAuth tokens, account labels, the active account, the selected AppMetrica application ID, and the theme preference are stored locally in the app storage on the device. These values are not synchronized with an InetTools server.

The OAuth token gives access to AppMetrica statistics available to the Yandex account. Users should add only tokens they are allowed to use and should remove the token from the app before transferring the device to another person.

Network Requests

The app sends the user's OAuth token only to Yandex AppMetrica API endpoints in the HTTP Authorization: OAuth header in order to load the list of available applications and statistics reports. The app can also open Yandex OAuth, AppMetrica dashboard, Google Play, RuStore, and privacy policy links in the browser.

InetTools does not proxy AppMetrica statistics, does not receive the user's OAuth token, and does not run a backend API for the statistics viewer in version 0.1.0.

Analytics, Error Reports and Advertising

The app is prepared to use AppMetrica SDK for product analytics and technical diagnostics after a dedicated AppMetrica application key is configured. AppMetrica may receive technical app events such as app launch, session, app version, device and operating system details, diagnostic events and crash information. AppMetrica is configured without location tracking, and the Android build excludes the advertising identifiers module.

The app is prepared to use Sentry for error and crash reports after a dedicated Sentry DSN is configured. Sentry may receive technical information about the app version, device, operating system, error time, stack trace and app state. We do not intentionally add Yandex OAuth tokens or AppMetrica report values to Sentry reports.

The app does not use advertising SDKs and we do not sell users' personal data.

Android Permissions

The app declares the INTERNET permission to open external links, connect to Yandex OAuth, load AppMetrica statistics, and send technical diagnostics when SDK keys are configured. SDK dependencies may add ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE and Google Play Install Referrer technical permissions. The debug build can include development-only permissions used by React Native tooling.

The app does not request contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, calendar, photo library, precise or approximate location, or payment data permissions.

Data Deletion

Users can remove saved accounts inside the app, clear app data through Android system settings, or uninstall the app. For questions about technical data already sent to AppMetrica or Sentry, contact us at support@inettools.net.

Children

The app is not specifically directed to children and is intended for users who manage or analyze their own AppMetrica applications.

Policy Changes

We may update this policy when the app, SDKs, network features, or legal requirements change. The current version is published on this page.
