Cashback Manager

Last updated: May 29, 2026

This policy explains how the Cashback Manager mobile app for Android and iOS (Android package and iOS Bundle ID net.inettools.cashback, Russian name «Кешбек менеджер») processes data when it recognizes cashback categories from banking app screenshots and stores your monthly summary.

Developer and Contact

The app is published by InetTools. For privacy questions, contact us at support@inettools.net.

Data We Process

  • Screenshots of cashback category screens that you select from the gallery or capture with the camera.
  • Technical request settings: app language, current month and year, image type, and file name.
  • The recognition result: bank, period, category names, cashback percentage, limits, conditions, recognition confidence, and warnings.
  • Local app data: saved categories, month history, selected theme, widget data where this feature is available, and JSON backup when you export it.
  • Technical analytics and diagnostics data: app version, device, operating system, session, usage events, errors, and crash information.

How Screenshots Are Used

A screenshot is sent to the InetTools backend to recognize cashback categories. The backend may send the image to OpenAI for image analysis and a structured response. The screenshot is used only to perform the recognition action you requested and return the result to the app.

Banking screenshots may contain a balance, part of a card number, a bank name, or other information visible on the screen. Do not upload images that contain full card numbers, security codes, passwords, one-time codes, passport details, or other sensitive information.

Local Storage and Data Controls

Recognized categories, month history, app theme, and widget data where available are stored on your device. The app does not require an account and does not sync the category list across devices. You can delete individual banks and categories, clear the list, export a JSON backup, and restore data from a JSON file you select.

The Share Summary feature sends a text summary only to the app you choose in the system share sheet. A JSON backup is saved or shared only after your explicit action.

Network Access and Server Logs

For recognition, the app calls https://ru.inettools.net/api/cashback/recognize for the Russian locale and https://inettools.net/api/cashback/recognize for other locales. During these requests, the InetTools server may automatically receive standard technical data such as IP address, user agent, request time, requested URL, response status, and error details. This data is used for security, diagnostics, API stability, and abuse prevention.

AppMetrica and Sentry

The app uses AppMetrica for usage analytics and diagnostics. AppMetrica may receive technical app events such as app launch, screen opening, theme changes, screenshot import, recognition result, loading errors, and crash information. These events help us understand app stability and fix issues.

The AppMetrica SDK may process technical device or installation identifiers and, on iOS, the advertising identifier if it is available under iOS privacy settings. The app does not show ads, does not use advertising SDKs, and does not sell users' personal data.

The app uses Sentry to collect crash reports and technical errors. Sentry may receive technical information about the app version, device, operating system, crash time, error stack, and app state. We do not intentionally add cashback screenshots, JSON backups, bank names, or categories to Sentry reports.

The app does not require login and does not send your name, email, phone number, contacts, payment data, passwords, or verification codes to AppMetrica or Sentry.

Android and iOS Permissions

The app needs internet access for screenshot recognition, analytics, and diagnostics. Camera access is used only after you start the action to take a picture. Image selection uses the Android or iOS system picker; the app receives access only to the images you select. On iOS, the app requests access to Photos and Camera to select screenshots or photograph a cashback category screen. The app does not request access to contacts, microphone, SMS, calendar, precise or approximate location, or payment data.

Sharing with Third Parties

We do not sell users' personal data. Data needed for recognition may be shared with OpenAI as an AI processing provider. Data needed for analytics, installation attribution, and diagnostics may be shared with AppMetrica/Yandex and Sentry. Technical server logs may be processed by InetTools infrastructure and hosting providers for security and API support.

Deletion and Your Choices

You can delete local records inside the app, clear app data through Android or iOS system settings, or uninstall the app from your device. Clearing data removes local categories, history, theme, widget snapshot where available, and other local settings. For questions about data already sent to InetTools, AppMetrica, Sentry, or OpenAI servers, contact us at support@inettools.net.

Children

The app is not specifically intended for children and does not provide account registration, user content publishing, or communication between users.

Policy Changes

We may update this policy when the app, API, analytics configuration, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
